QuinTron was founded by Lyle H. Hamilton, Ph.D., an emeritus professor of physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In the early days, the company focused on the field of pulmonary instrumentation. In 1978, QuinTron expanded into collection systems and analyzers for respiratory gas analysis for the detection of disaccharide malabsorption.
