►► How do I correctly use the iF Helicobacter Test?


1. Open the lid by partially removing the label from the cassette.

2. Place the biopsy specimen in the agar gel (if necessary, use a sanitized needle to cut a little cross in the agar before).

3. Record the patient's information on the sticker.

4. Significant color change will be visible after one to two hours (depending on temperature) and will be stable afterwards.

5. In rare cases color change might take considerably more time. However if H. pylori is present in the specimen, the color change will occur in less than 24 hours. Do not read the results only after 24 hours of the tests beginning.
